Magnetic Hill Leh

Magnetic Hill Leh

It is the phenomenon that really defies gravity. I never believed this sitting in Delhi until I experienced it myself. Just park your vehicle and you will see it moving forward as if someone is pulling it. The impact of the giant Magnetic hill is such that even the overloaded trucks start moving.

Magnetic Hill is located about 18 Kms from Leh on the Leh Kargil highway. After visiting Gurudwara Patthar Sahib you can proceed further towards the Magnetic Hill and experience the phenomenon which is trully amazing. Few Kms from Magnetic Hill you can experience yet another mesmerising view i.e. meeting of two historical rivers, Sangam of Indus (Sindhu ) River and Zanskar. The two rivers with two different colors meet so elegantly and is a treat to watch.
